A well-preserved structure, Lough Gur Wedge Tomb is assumed to be from the Bronze Age. It measures approximately 30 x 23 feet, and is unique for its double walls.

The tomb is divided into two chambers by a large slab at one end. Excavation has found a number of burial remains and shards of pottery.
