The Clach Ard Pictish Stone has been dated to the 6th-7th Centuries. Facing south, it is an irregular five-sided prism, and it measures 4-1/2 feet in height.

On its face, three symbols are incised: the crescent and broken rod on the top, the spectacle ornament and zig-zag rod below it, and the mirror and comb symbol near the base.
